Digital agriculture can be defined as the use of information, communication and computational technology to increase agricultural production sustainability. Despite the advance in the study of management practices to close the gap between attainable yield and potential yield, that gap is still considerable. The use of simulation models, generation of georeferenced digital databases, and digital platforms to access that data can improve the analysis of management practices (sowing date, fertilization, cover crops, tillage) to understand the functionality of agricultural systems. The objective of this Project is to implement digital agriculture tools to study management practices to close the yield gap in South of Cordoba production systems. Historical data (10 years) from two experimental sites (Pozo del Carril, La Aguada Cordoba and Campo de Docencia y Experimentaci贸n UNRC, Rio Cuarto, Cordoba) will be compiled, new datasets will be generated in both experimental sites to validate and calibrate APSIM crop model simulator, digital data layers from a long term experiment in Site I will be analyzed to characterize the historical impact of different management practices. This project will bring up a group of management practices to increase productivity, stability and sustainability of crop production systems in the south of Cordoba Province
